Cat ‘Baby’ Viciously Attacked 7 Pitbulls And Hospitalized Dog Walker

Last Monday, a 16-year-old cat viciously attacked seven unsuspecting pit bulls as they were passing the cat’s yard together with their owners in Victoria, Canada. Even though the cat named Baby has arthritis and problems walking, that didn’t stop her one bit from clutching her paws into one pit’s face and eyes as well as hurting the other pit’s owner Kyla Grover so bad she had to go to the hospital for treatment.
The 3-year-old pit Bandida grabbed the cat and held her down in order to defend herself but none of the remaining pits fought back. “I asked the owner, ‘Is your cat okay,’ and he said, ‘Yes, there’s not one scratch on the cat,'” said Bandida’s owner Javiera Rodriguez. “So that just shows you how aggressive my pit bull is,” she added. Thankfully, Bandida’s scratches weren’t too severe but, since the attack, she’s been less playful and stays by Rodriguez. Grover had to get a tetanus shot and antibiotics at a hospital though. The owners of the cat apologized the next day and covered Bandida’s $222 vet bill. “I don’t want anything to happen to the cat, I don’t want it to be put down, I don’t want a ban of cats, I don’t want what happens to our dogs to happen to them,” explained Rodriguez. “When dog owners have an aggressive dog they have to put a sign and the dog has to be on a leash at all times. I don’t understand why it’s not the same for cats.”
