IF Georges St-Pierre is returning to fighting, he still hasn’t convinced UFC president Dana White.

St-Pierre has officially re-entered the drug testing pool for USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) with the intention to return to the Octagon, but White is still skeptical about whether or not he’ll actually fight again.
White has been one of the loudest voices stating that he never truly believed St-Pierre would return and he echoed those sentiments once again while speaking to “The Herd” on Thursday.
“I don’t care how big you are or how much money you make or how much money you bring into the company - if you don’t want to fight anymore, you shouldn’t fight anymore. This is a sport you’re all in, you can’t be wishy-washy,” White said.
“That’s why when people talk about, ‘Oh Georges St-Pierre’s coming back’. Georges St-Pierre doesn’t have that ‘I want to be a world champion’ attitude anymore. He doesn’t have that drive and that desire that he once had. And if you don’t have that, no, you shouldn’t fight.”
White’s words come on the heels of St-Pierre messaging back and forth with welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in an attempt to set up a fight between the two of them.
St-Pierre has also stated publicly that if he can reach a deal with the new UFC owners that he has every desire to return to the Octagon, potentially before the end of the year.
Still, White just isn’t buying it and it sounds like no matter what St-Pierre says, he’s not going to believe it until it actually happens.
St-Pierre re-entered the USADA testing pool in August and would not be eligible to fight until at least December based on the four month window required for retired competitors to return to action.
